A life + travel visual diary

It’s 11 am, and I’m jotting this down in the lobby of our hotel here in Taipei. Yes, we left Thailand.

Thailand has truly become a second home to us. The familiarity, the people, BTS, our favorite Japanese place – all of it. We spent about 2 months in Thailand, and we were in Bangkok for the 4th this time, but we’ve never visited this one tourist attraction!

Mahanakhon Skywalk

It was…..tall. Big sky-rise in the middle of the bustling city of Bangkok, we unknowingly pass by it once in a while but its true beauty lies above its highest floor. We booked our reservation through Klook!

It was amazing up there. Ryan spent this whole week walking around with his Fuji camera, capturing every bit of Bangkok you don’t get to notice at first glance. I, meanwhile, went thrift shopping.

If you’re looking for luxury thrift shopping in Bangkok visit 2nd Street! I found so many good items in there, and the prices are almost always 50% off the original price. Just gear up your creativity and patience, and you’ll be fine!
