My life changed significantly after I clinched a job as a Content Producer for Akolade, but do you know what remained constant?

My hunt for aesthetic and delish coffee.

It’s a normal Friday afternoon in the city I’m in and I’m on my last shift for the week.

Being a freelance writer for six long years is tough, and no it’s not just dedication and hard work that got me through all those years—it’s caffeine. I’d love to admit that I know a good coffee through its smell that’s how addicted I am to coffee. Lol.

Tom N Toms CDO branch opened last year, lucky enough it surfaced in the uptown area of CDO. This means this coffee shop is not overcrowded, not even on a sunny Friday afternoon.

Because we are trying to stay alive in the era of overpriced rice and cheap coffee (lol), my friend and I decided to try their famous Club x Coffee sets. For working girls like us, we wanted to approach this situation subtly but strongly.

We ordered two sets of CLub sandwiches and iced Americano with three extra pumps of vanilla (personal fave).

I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops inside CDO but I never actually stayed until sundown if I don’t like the café.

Can you guess what time we left Tom N Toms?

8pm.

We got here around 1pm, did a little work, ordered by 3 pm, continued working until 6, and talked about anything that sparked our inner marites. LOL.

Tom N Toms is pretty decent. Chill vibes, tasty pastry, wide area (no crowd here), plus free wifi! That is why I decided to blog about it. My work starts at 6 am and ends around 3pm. If ever you see me inside Tom N Toms, please know that I’ve been here since morning. LOL.
