Initially, I was supposed to enjoy college life and focus on earning a degree. However, I found it difficult to sit in a classroom. I clearly cannot be contained.
I was very brave to decide to work full-time and drop some of my subjects. I thought I was busy enough, yet my hobbies and passions just wouldn’t stay hidden away. So, I work an 8-hour job, go to school, write blogs, create TikToks, read, own a startup business (which is currently struggling, thank you very much), take care of a dog, and navigate my existential crises, lol.
All of these are making me nuts… yet inspired.
Reading provides my mind with a productive distraction from overthinking, which I find quite helpful. My dog teaches me how to show affection and reminds me to express it. Meanwhile, my job allows me to support myself by paying bills, helping my family, doing groceries, and grabbing coffee on my way home. Overall, I would say this is a pretty decent life.
Every day, we encounter numerous problems that can make us feel distant from our goals. These challenges can hold us back from pursuing our big dreams, and they can be quite frustrating. However, when you reflect on it, all of these experiences contribute to the true essence of who you are—the real, unfiltered version of yourself.
Life can be challenging and sometimes feels overwhelming, but it also brings excitement that keeps things from getting dull. It may feel like hell at times, but this is what truly living is all about. You fall down, but you get back up. You face rejection, but you try again. If your heart gets broken, find a way to open yourself up to love again. Never allow yourself to remain stuck in the same place repeatedly.
Stand up and take another shot.
See you at the next one.
